Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Porta Bianca by Walter Valentini was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in July 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,364.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Walter Valentini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La città del Sole, which sold at auction in December 2015 for EUR 7,000.00.

Die Arbeit La Porta Bianca von Walter Valentini kam im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.364,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Walter Valentini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La città del Sole beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für EUR 7.000,00 versteigert wurde.
