Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Schnalstalgletscher Ii' by Walter Niedermayr was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in July 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Walter Niedermayr - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ghiacciaio Della Marmolada II - 1995, which sold at auction in October 2017 for EUR 23,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Schnalstalgletscher Ii' von Walter Niedermayr kam im Juli 2015 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Walter Niedermayr mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ghiacciaio Della Marmolada II - 1995 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für EUR 23.400,00 versteigert wurde.
