Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Twisted Strings 88C X 333 by Walter Leblanc was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2020. The price achieved of EUR 50,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Walter Leblanc have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Twisted Strings in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 213,786.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Twisted Strings 88C X 333 von Walter Leblanc kam im November 2020 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 50.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Walter Leblanc auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Twisted Strings im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 213.786,70).
