It achieved a price of EUR 6,375.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Leblanc achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twisted Strings in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 213,786.70).

Die Arbeit Gouache - Twisted Strings von Walter Leblanc kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter Leblanc erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twisted Strings im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 213.786,70).
