Upper estimate price exceeded by 76 %.
This artwork by Walter Leblanc achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June this year. In the Art contemporain - Vente du jour auction, the work Torsions WL 324 sold for EUR 17,640.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Leblanc achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twisted Strings in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 213,786.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Walter Leblanc erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art contemporain - Vente du jour wurde die Arbeit Torsions WL 324 für EUR 17.640,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter Leblanc erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twisted Strings im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 213.786,70).
