Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Walter Leblanc achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in December last year. In the Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours1918-2021 auction, the work Composition abstraite sold for EUR 7,012.50 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Leblanc achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twisted Strings in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 213,786.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Walter Leblanc erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours1918-2021 wurde die Arbeit Composition abstraite für EUR 7.012,50 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter Leblanc erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twisted Strings im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 213.786,70).
