Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Landscape) by Walter Langhammer was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,087.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Walter Langhammer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Still Life), which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,714.42).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape) von Walter Langhammer kam im März 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.087,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Walter Langhammer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Still Life) beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.714,42) versteigert wurde.
