Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jim King'S Wharf, Alert Bay, British Columbia by Walter Joseph Phillips was sold in the Graphic Century auction at Christies in New York in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,620.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Walter Joseph Phillips - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mamalilicoola, British Columbia, which sold at auction in November this year for USD 16,380.00 (€ 15,016.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jim King'S Wharf, Alert Bay, British Columbia von Walter Joseph Phillips wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Graphic Century bei Christies in New York versteigert.
