It achieved a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,047.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Walter Chappell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gestures Of Infinity, which sold at auction in June 2010 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,272.07).
