The work Bride and Groom Alone by Wally Hedrick was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 12,600.00 (€ 10,729.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Wally Hedrick have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April last year the work Shopping Hour, 1955 was auctioned for USD 11,475.00 (€ 10,890.20).
