Sold at the lower estimate price
In May this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work On the balcony by Waldemar Lorentzon. The result of SEK 150,000.00 (€ 12,924.72) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Waldemar Lorentzon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Tennisspelare" / "The tennis players" in May 2021 with an auction result of SEK 3,050,000.00 (€ 301,148.11).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit On the balcony von Waldemar Lorentzon zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 150.000,00 (€ 12.924,72) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Waldemar Lorentzon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Tennisspelare" / "The tennis players" im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 3.050.000,00 (€ 301.148,11).
