The work "Balkong" by Waldemar Lorentzon was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. It achieved a price of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,169.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Waldemar Lorentzon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Tennisspelare" / "The tennis players" in May 2021 with an auction result of SEK 3,050,000.00 (€ 301,148.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Balkong" von Waldemar Lorentzon kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.169,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Waldemar Lorentzon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Tennisspelare" / "The tennis players" im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 3.050.000,00 (€ 301.148,11).
