Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Christies in London held the auction 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale, which included the work Expulsion from Paradise by Vojtěch Kovařík. The price achieved of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,653.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vojtěch Kovařík have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aphrodite in May this year with an auction result of USD 378,000.00 (€ 354,796.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Expulsion from Paradise von Vojtěch Kovařík zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.653,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vojtěch Kovařík auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aphrodite im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 378.000,00 (€ 354.796,32).
