Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Vojtěch Kovařík could be acquired at Phillips in London in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Hercules With Lion Hair changed hands for GBP 25,400.00 (€ 29,259.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vojtěch Kovařík achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aphrodite in May this year with an auction result of USD 378,000.00 (€ 354,796.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vojtěch Kovařík konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Hercules With Lion Hair für GBP 25.400,00 (€ 29.259,83) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vojtěch Kovařík erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aphrodite im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 378.000,00 (€ 354.796,32).
