Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Elvis Presley Riding Horse by Vojtěch Kovařík was sold in the Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 756,000.00 (€ 88,712.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vojtěch Kovařík - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aphrodite, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 378,000.00 (€ 354,796.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Elvis Presley Riding Horse von Vojtěch Kovařík wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 756.000,00 (€ 88.712,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vojtěch Kovařík mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aphrodite beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 378.000,00 (€ 354.796,32) versteigert wurde.
