Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.423,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Viviano Codazzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ruderi di un edificio di ordine tuscanico, con un paesaggio mediterraneo sullo sfondo ed il tempio di Vesta, con astanti vari im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 99.200,00.
