Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Artists by Viktor Popkov was sold in the Important Russian Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 314,500.00 (€ 395,413.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Viktor Popkov have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work A Family In July, 1969 was auctioned for USD 842,500.00 (€ 646,287.20).

Die Arbeit Three Artists von Viktor Popkov wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Important Russian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 314.500,00 (€ 395.413,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
