This artwork by Victor Vignon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2015. In the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper Including Property from the John C. Whitehead Collection auction, the work La route du village sold for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,506.82) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Victor Vignon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blick auf Auvers an der Oise in May 2017 with an auction result of EUR 51,600.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Victor Vignon erzielte im Mai 2015 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper Including Property from the John C. Whitehead Collection wurde die Arbeit La route du village für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.506,82) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Victor Vignon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blick auf Auvers an der Oise im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.600,00.
