The work Street scene with figures by Victor Huguet was sold in the Orientalist Art auction at Bonhams in London in October 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,812.50 (€ 9,785.53), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Huguet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Halte De Bicharis Dans Le Desert De Lybie in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 159,156.00.

Die Arbeit Street scene with figures von Victor Huguet wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Orientalist Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.812,50 (€ 9.785,53) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Huguet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Halte De Bicharis Dans Le Desert De Lybie im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 159.156,00.
