This artwork by Victor William Higgins achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. In the Western Art auction, the work Southwestern Landscape sold for USD 63,375.00 (€ 60,145.20) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor William Higgins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Going Home in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 773,000.00 (€ 731,868.96).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Victor William Higgins erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Western Art wurde die Arbeit Southwestern Landscape für USD 63.375,00 (€ 60.145,20) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor William Higgins erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Going Home im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 773.000,00 (€ 731.868,96).
