A top price for Victor Dubreuil - as previously expected
In May 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Barrels Of Money by Victor Dubreuil. The price achieved of USD 93,750.00 (€ 84,193.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Barrels Of Money is the most expensive artwork by Victor Dubreuil that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Barrels Of Money von Victor Dubreuil zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 84.193,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Barrels Of Money das teuerste Kunstwerk von Victor Dubreuil, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
