Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Billets D'Un Dollar by Victor Dubreuil was sold in the Tableaux et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Dubreuil achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Barrels Of Money in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 84,193.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Billets D'Un Dollar von Victor Dubreuil wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Tableaux et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Dubreuil erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Barrels Of Money im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 84.193,98).
