In December 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Arbor Dans Un Champ by Victor Vignon. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,714.32), 63% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Victor Vignon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blick auf Auvers an der Oise in May 2017 with an auction result of EUR 51,600.00.

Im Dezember 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arbor Dans Un Champ von Victor Vignon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.714,32) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Victor Vignon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blick auf Auvers an der Oise im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.600,00.
