Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled #3 from The Birthday Party by Vee Speers was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October 2011. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,377.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vee Speers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled #16 from The Birthday Party, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,494.37).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.377,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
