Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Untitled #22 Girl with Pigeon" by Vee Speers was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2011. It changed hands for a price of SEK 58,000.00 (€ 6,527.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vee Speers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled #16 from The Birthday Party, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,494.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Untitled #22 Girl with Pigeon" von Vee Speers kam im Mai 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 58.000,00 (€ 6.527,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vee Speers mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled #16 from The Birthday Party beobachtet, die im April 2011 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.494,37) versteigert wurde.
