Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2012 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist/Modern, which included the work Paysage de Bonneval en Automne by Vassyl Khmeluk. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,223.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Vassyl Khmeluk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Young Girl in December 2009 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,380.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist/Modern durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage de Bonneval en Automne von Vassyl Khmeluk zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.223,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vassyl Khmeluk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Girl im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.380,79).
