Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Portrait Of A Boy by Vassyl Khmeluk. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,201.50) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Vassyl Khmeluk have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2009 the work Portrait Of A Young Girl was auctioned for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,380.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Boy von Vassyl Khmeluk zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.201,50) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Vassyl Khmeluk konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2009 die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Girl für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.380,79) versteigert.
