Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Evening Star by Vasilii Kotarbinsky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 66,500.00 (€ 93,117.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasilii Kotarbinsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roman Orgy in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 825,250.00 (€ 1,016,624.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Evening Star von Vasilii Kotarbinsky kam im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 66.500,00 (€ 93.117,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasilii Kotarbinsky erzielen.
