Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2019 Christies in New York held the auction European Art, which included the work Favorite of the Seraglio with her Handmaiden by Vasilii Kotarbinsky. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 62,500.00 (€ 55,798.59). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasilii Kotarbinsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roman Orgy in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 825,250.00 (€ 1,016,624.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Favorite of the Seraglio with her Handmaiden von Vasilii Kotarbinsky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 62.500,00 (€ 55.798,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasilii Kotarbinsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roman Orgy im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 825.250,00 (€ 1.016.624,27).
