Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2008 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work A lady on a marble bench in Ancient Rome by Vasilii Kotarbinsky. The price achieved of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 47,085.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasilii Kotarbinsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roman Orgy in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 825,250.00 (€ 1,016,624.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A lady on a marble bench in Ancient Rome von Vasilii Kotarbinsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 47.085,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasilii Kotarbinsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roman Orgy im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 825.250,00 (€ 1.016.624,27).
