However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Valentine Cameron Prinsep - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Venetian Gaming-House In The Sixteenth Century, which sold at auction in November 2004 for GBP 111,650.00 (€ 160,607.92).
