In May 2008 Christies in London held the auction Japanese Art and Design, which included the work Unknown by Utagawa Yoshiiku. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,385.08), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Utagawa Yoshiiku achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Artisans And Events Of The Twelve Months in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 44,707.49).

Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Japanese Art and Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Utagawa Yoshiiku zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.385,08) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Utagawa Yoshiiku erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Artisans And Events Of The Twelve Months im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 44.707,49).
