An oban tate-e triptych print of yakusha-e, depicting an imaginary performance with three actors: the right sheet with the actor Bando Shuka I as Sadato's wife Sodehagi, 36cm x 24.7cm (14 3/16in x 9 11/16in); the middle sheet of Ichikawa Danjuro III as Abe Sadato, 36cm x 24.7cm (14 3/16in x 9 11/16in); the left sheet of Ichimura Uzaemon XII as Hachiman Taro Yoshiie, 36cm x 24.6cm (14 3/16in x 9 11/16in); published by Miyakozawa, two nanushi censor's seals Hama and Kinugasa, all signed Hanmotono oju Toyokuni ga; each sheet mounted on card.
