The price achieved of USD 40,320.00 (€ 41,214.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Other works by Utagawa Kunimasa have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Unknown was auctioned for GBP 58,100.00 (€ 73,905.74).
