Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Campo con alberi by Umberto Boccioni. It changed hands for a price of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 210,777.81) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Umberto Boccioni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Forme uniche della continuità nello spazio (Unique Forms of Continuity in Space) in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 16,165,000.00 (€ 14,670,115.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Campo con alberi von Umberto Boccioni zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 210.777,81) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Umberto Boccioni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Forme uniche della continuità nello spazio (Unique Forms of Continuity in Space) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.165.000,00 (€ 14.670.115,26).
