Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Deux femmes au café - 1903 by Ubaldo Oppi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,461.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ubaldo Oppi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giovani donne al mare in April 2019 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Deux femmes au café - 1903 von Ubaldo Oppi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.461,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ubaldo Oppi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giovani donne al mare im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
