Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Donne al caffè by Ubaldo Oppi was worth EUR 7,000.00 to a buyer in May last year. This price was achieved in the auction Arte moderna e contemporanea at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ubaldo Oppi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giovani donne al mare in April 2019 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.

Die Arbeit Donne al caffè von Ubaldo Oppi war einem Käufer im Mai letzten Jahres EUR 7.000,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea bei Il Ponte erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ubaldo Oppi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giovani donne al mare im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
