Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tuija Lindström could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Maria with a log", 1992 changed hands for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,324.10) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tuija Lindström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "The Girls at Bulls Pond/Kvinnorna vid Tjursjön", 1991 (8 pieces) in November 2014 with an auction result of SEK 340,000.00 (€ 36,657.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tuija Lindström konnte im April letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Maria with a log", 1992 für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.324,10) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tuija Lindström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "The Girls at Bulls Pond/Kvinnorna vid Tjursjön", 1991 (8 pieces) im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 340.000,00 (€ 36.657,02).
