Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Tsuyoshi Maekawa was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 46,232.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 320,000.00 – 520,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tsuyoshi Maekawa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Work in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,720,000.00 (€ 320,087.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tsuyoshi Maekawa wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 46.232,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 320.000,00 – 520.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tsuyoshi Maekawa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Work im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.720.000,00 (€ 320.087,58).
