Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Unknown by Tsukioka Kogyo for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,044.35). This price was achieved in the auction Japanese Art and Design at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Tsukioka Kogyo have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2021 by the work Three kacho-ga woodblock prints at GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,466.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Unknown von Tsukioka Kogyo für GBP 720,00 (€ 1.044,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Japanese Art and Design bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tsukioka Kogyo wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2021 die Arbeit Three kacho-ga woodblock prints mit GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.466,04).
