Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Meiji era (1868-1912), dated between 1898-1902 by Tsukioka Kogyo was sold in the Tradition Travel TransitionJapanese Art across the Centuries auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 612.00 (€ 718.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate.
