Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 999.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Tsukioka Kogyo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2021 the work Three kacho-ga woodblock prints was auctioned for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,466.04).
