Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams in London held the auction Fine Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work A Group of 48 Woodblock Prints and a Single Sketch by Tsukioka Kogyo. The price achieved of USD 1,280.00 (€ 1,209.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Tsukioka Kogyo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2021 the work Three kacho-ga woodblock prints was auctioned for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,466.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Fine Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Group of 48 Woodblock Prints and a Single Sketch von Tsukioka Kogyo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.280,00 (€ 1.209,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Tsukioka Kogyo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2021 die Arbeit Three kacho-ga woodblock prints für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.466,04) versteigert.
