Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Terrazzo No. 25 by Tsibi Geva was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2013. The »bidding war« ended at USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,700.49), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tsibi Geva - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Diptych), which sold at auction in December 2015 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 40,289.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Terrazzo No. 25 von Tsibi Geva wurde im Dezember 2013 in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 12.700,49) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Tsibi Geva mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Diptych) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 40.289,16) versteigert wurde.
