Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Tsibi Geva was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2016. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 7,107.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tsibi Geva have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Diptych) in December 2015 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 40,289.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tsibi Geva kam im Dezember 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 7.107,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tsibi Geva auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Diptych) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 40.289,16).
