Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tseng Yuho achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Three Peaks sold for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 30,533.99) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tseng Yuho - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych), which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 725,000.00 (€ 85,317.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tseng Yuho erzielte im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Three Peaks für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 30.533,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tseng Yuho mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 725.000,00 (€ 85.317,46) versteigert wurde.
