Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tseng Yuho achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Contemporary Ink Art: Confluence auction, the work Two Trees sold for HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,577.01) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tseng Yuho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 725,000.00 (€ 85,317.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tseng Yuho erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art: Confluence wurde die Arbeit Two Trees für HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.577,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tseng Yuho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 725.000,00 (€ 85.317,46).
