In September last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Twilight in the Cold Forest by Tseng Yuho. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,738.45), 47% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tseng Yuho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 725,000.00 (€ 85,317.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Twilight in the Cold Forest von Tseng Yuho zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.738,45) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tseng Yuho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 725.000,00 (€ 85.317,46).
