Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tseng Yuho could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Ink Art: Confluence auction, the work Waiahole Valley Ii changed hands for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 26,139.68) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 240,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tseng Yuho - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych), which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 725,000.00 (€ 85,317.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tseng Yuho konnte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art: Confluence wechselte die Arbeit Waiahole Valley Ii für HKD 237.500,00 (€ 26.139,68) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 240.000,00 – 350.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tseng Yuho mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 725.000,00 (€ 85.317,46) versteigert wurde.
