Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Truls Melin could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm auction, the work "Skuggad bläckfisk" (Octopus in shadows) changed hands for SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,690.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Truls Melin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Drunknade sjömän", 5 st. in May 2010 with an auction result of SEK 95,000.00 (€ 9,854.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Truls Melin konnte im Mai 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm wechselte die Arbeit "Skuggad bläckfisk" (Octopus in shadows) für SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.690,07) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Truls Melin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Drunknade sjömän", 5 st. im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 95.000,00 (€ 9.854,07).
